PERSONALITY/FIT: If ever there was a character who personifies mama's boy, it's Eddie Kaspbrak. As a child, he grew up under the thumb of an overbearing helicopter mom and, whether through the power of suggestion or to subconsciously appease her, Eddie developed a severe case of hypochondria. It's stuck with him his entire life. Given his upbringing, he's not terribly independent. As an adult, he makes due, but he's not the type of person who wants to be the decision-maker. Eddie is content to be a follower.

Having spent the better part of his childhood bullied and then, in his early teen years, having to fight It, a terrifying shape-shifting entity with the ability to take on the forms of things that scared the people looking at it most, Eddie was and continues to be understandably guarded. It might be a stretch to call him standoffish, but he can be if he feels like someone is taking digs at him.

He was always neurotic and overly cautious at best. Eddie was the type of person who needed a security blanket and, for Eddie, that security blanket has always been an inhaler. As a child, he'd been convinced he had asthma because his mother insisted that he did. As an adult, he knew that he wasn't an asthmatic but he continued to carry the inhaler, taking puffs of it in times of extreme stress or anxiety.

Toward the end of his life, Eddie finally started to become more independent and proactive. Largely, this is due to the fact that he is fiercely loyal to his friends. Somewhere along the line, life became less about self-preservation and more about saving his friends. Eddie, in fact, was fatally injured saving Richie Tozier, arguably his closest friend out of the whole group of Losers, from the deadlights. He died finally showing the confidence and courage everyone else had been showing the whole time and was able to feel a surge of pride in himself and was able to use his last moments to give the Losers a piece of advice that enabled them to finally defeat Pennywise.

The powers his trip through the portal granted him are what brought him back to life and kept him in one piece. He's understandably a little bitter that he died alone in that house on Niebolt Street, but he's not bitter that he was alone because the others were still fighting; he's bitter because he'd been so excited and proud of himself thinking that he'd been the one to kill It that he let his guard down and he blames himself for his own death. That and, honestly, in retrospect, he wishes he'd had some better last words than "I fucked your mom."

At least he'll be in good humor again once he finds out that the Losers survived and killed It once and for all, even if they had to do it without him.

Eddie will be a good fit in the game because he'll have a new lease on life. It may take a little adjustment period, but he'll have a new lease on life and he's likely to feel more empowered, now, to fight the good fight, should he ever have to do so again. Additionally, with his new abilities, once he learns to trust them and utilize them, Eddie will be a big asset to the world around him.

POWERS: Eddie hasn't any canon powers, so I'm taking one of his skills from the book and fleshing it out, and adding something new from the portal.

Human Compass:
Eddie's sense of direction is perfect, now. No matter what, whether he's been somewhere or not, he always knows exactly which way to go to get where he's trying to be. Someone can give him an address in a town he's never been to and Eddie will find it without trouble; he's like a GPS system, now, completely flawless and always up to date to accommodate road closures and detours. This doesn't just work on streets. If he were to go underground, he would be able to find his way just as easily.

Immunity/Herd Immunity:
Thanks to the trip through the portal, Eddie is now completely immune to any and all potential physical damage to his body. He cannot ever get sick. He cannot ever be injured. His body is impenetrable by foreign objects, including things as tiny as microbes.

Additionally, with his Herd Immunity, this complete and total immunity to physical damage is extended to anyone in direct skin to skin contact with him. If Eddie was shaking someone's hand and a piano was dropped on their head, they would be completely unharmed. Theoretically, because his ability is shared completely with anyone in direct skin to skin contact with him, it would stand to reason that anyone in skin to skin contact with someone who has skin to skin contact with Eddie would also be extended his immunity. In short, Eddie could theoretically be the start of a human chain that could keep a car accident victim across town from bleeding out while waiting for an ambulance to arrive or he could temporarily cure a cancer patient in Canada with that same human chain, even if he were still in Florida. That's a stretch, of course, for an example, but as long as he's in contact with someone (even if indirectly through a chain of several people), for the duration of that contact, everyone in that chain will experience complete immunity to physical damage.
